Welcome to Four Seasons. We hope your stay with us will be a pleasant one. To live together in a close community atmosphere, it will be necessary to be considerate of your fellow campers, and also to the property. Four Seasons Camping Area is privately owned and operated. We reserve the right to select our clients and visitors, or to refuse those who choose not to abide by these rules.

Check-in time is 1:00PM, 3:00PM for rentals. Check-out time is 11:00AM.

QUIET HOURS ARE FROM 11:00PM TO 7:00AM. Please be respectful of your neighbors. Keep radios and conversations low after dark.

SPEED LIMIT: 5 MPH on all campground roads. Please obey all signs. All vehicles must have a window pass.

Entry gate is operated with pass cards, available at the office for a $10 refundable deposit. We strongly suggest each campsite have at least one card. It will be more convenient for both of us. The card will be required if you wish to enter between the hours of 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM when the office is closed. CAUTION: the gate admits ONE metal vehicle at a time. Do not walk behind vehicles at the gate. Please do not block the gate or let others in with your card.


Children: Parents are responsible for the safety and behavior of their children. Children must be at their site by 10:30 PM, and may not be left alone overnight unless they’re 21 years of age or older. Please do not leave children unattended for long periods of time during the day.

Bicycles: Each bicycle will be issued and must display an ID tag. They may not be ridden after dark or exceed the campground speed limit (5 mph). Children under 16 years old must wear a helmet (state law). Use extra caution on hills. Keep on the right side of the roads. No bikes on the beach or on the beach path. Please use bike racks. Bikes found unattended after dark may be confiscated until morning. Bike riding is a privilege that can be revoked. Please ride responsibly at all timess.

Domestic Pets must be LEASHED AT ALL TIMES. The owners are responsible for the behavior of their pet at all times. Pets are not allowed at the beach, in the swimming area, at the playground, or in public buildings. Clean up after your pet and dispose of waste, including unused food, properly (in trash, and not in woods). Do not leave pets alone if this causes them to bark. Children may only walk pets that they are capable of restraining and cleaning up after. VISITORS MAY NOT BRING PETS. Pets that become a problem to their neighborhood may have to be removed from the campground. A list of area kennels will be available at the office.

Visitors: A visitor is anyone in addition to the immediate host family (two adults with their unmarried children). The host family is responsible for the behavior of their visitors. In consideration of the facilities, a fee will be charged. The fee is refundable if the visitor leaves within 30 minutes of check-in. Daily visitors must leave by 10:00 PM. One car of visitors per site, per day, unless approved in advance. No more than 2 adult visitors per night, per site. VISITORS MAY NOT BRING PETS. Visitors who bring boats will be charged a $10.00 launch fee. There is a fee for all use of docks. Host families admitting unregistered visitors may face ejection. Please make all visitors aware in advance of any rules that may apply, including fees.

Store/Office hours are 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, off-season hours will be posted. Please arrive before 10:00 PM. The store carries basic groceries, ice, firewood, snacks, gifts, and some RV supplies. Some sports equipment (basketball, horseshoes, etc.) can be borrowed from the store. We accept payment by cash, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. There will be a $25 service charge on any bounced checks.

Cancellation Policy:
The deposit is only refundable if we are given at least 30 days notice and a $15 handling fee applies to all cancellations.

Beach Area: For your safety, glass containers, pets, and bicycles are not allowed on the beach. No lifeguards are on duty. Please, no swimming alone. A flotation device is located on the left-hand side of the beach. NO SWIMMING AFTER DARK. No swimmers under 14 years of age unless accompanied by an adult. Please dispose of cigarette butts properly (not in sand). No fishing is allowed in the swimming area or from the sun deck or boat docks. Fishing licenses are available downtown. Boat docks are available for a fee. No moorings are allowed. No children under 14 are allowed on the boat docks unless accompanied by an adult.

Restrooms: Restrooms are closed for cleaning daily 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM for the lowers and 10:45 AM to 11:15 AM for the uppers. An air compressor is available, by appointment, to inflate tires, mattresses, floats, etc. No pets are allowed in the bathroom or tied to the railings. Dishes may be washed at the outside sink on the front of the lower bathroom.

Water and Electric Site Service: Electrical is 110v/30 amp ground fault protected. Well water is available on each site, as well as both bathroom buildings. Our water is tested monthly. A pressure regulator is recommended.

Dump Station: Dump Station is located adjacent to the campground entrance. It's free to paid customers. An on-site pumping service is available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for a fee. Pumping should be prepaid. There is a $10.00 surcharge for emergency off-day service. Campers must use RV toilet tissue. By state law, trailers must have a closed container for gray water (blue tank) with tight connections. Graywater may be disposed of at the dump station. No gray water or sewage may be discharged to the ground. Evidence of such may result in ejection from the campground.

Trash: Trash is picked up at the designated bins until 7:30 PM. Trash after this time attracts wildlife and should be kept in your barrel until morning. Please tie and do not overload bags. Additional bags are available, free of charge, in the office. Rakes are available behind the lower bathrooms. Please remove all personal items and trash from the site at time of checkout.

Fires: Fires are permitted in fireplaces only. Do not move fireplaces without permission or leave fires unattended. Fires must be extinguished by 11:30 PM. If your fireplace needs emptying, please let us know. IT IS ILLEGAL TO BURN HOUSEHOLD TRASH.

Smoking: Smoking is prohibited by Maine state law in all indoor public areas. This includes the store, lodge, office, and bathrooms. Smoking is not allowed in our rental trailers. Please make sure all cigarettes, etc. are extinguished and disposed of properly. Do not dispose of butts on the beach or at the playground.

Alcohol: Alcohol should be consumed in moderation. Drunk and disorderly behavior will not be tolerated. No alcoholic beverages in the game room. Law enforcement will be notified of anyone furnishing alcohol to minors or permitting the use of it on their campsites. No glass bottles on the beach. Please keep alcohol locked at all times to reduce the temptation of theft.

General Rules: Profanity and excessive noise are not welcomed at Four Seasons Camping Area. Firearms and fireworks are prohibited. A physical altercation between campers will likely be resolved by a Cumberland County Sheriff and result in the ejection of both parties. Vandalism of any kind will not be tolerated. This may include the cutting of trees, carving, peeling bark, etc. or the misuse of facilities and/or equipment. Personal watercraft (jet skis, etc.), minibikes and ATVs are not allowed. Please use extreme caution while operating electric bikes and follow bicycle rules. A violation of any campground rule may result in ejection from the campground without refund. Please feel free to call with any questions about any of these rules.

Four Seasons Camping Area is a family camping area (either 2 adults or 2 adults and their unmarried children). All campers must be at least 21 years of age unless accompanied by their parent.
