Four Seasons Camping Area is located midway between the
Maine Coast and the White Mountains of New Hampshire. During the summer
and fall, the town of Naples comes alive with visitors, catering to
water sport enthusiasts and those looking for a relaxing waterside
escape. The downtown Causeway area is packed with antique shops,
restaurants, art galleries, gift shops and two miniature golf courses.
It is also the place to buy a ticket for a sea plane ride or catch a
ride on the 300-passenger
Songo River Queen, a replica of a
Mississippi River stern paddle wheeler. For evening entertainment,
establishments on the Causeway offer live music, and the nearby
Bridgton Drive-In shows first-run
movies on two screens under the stars. Those looking for more water to
play in can visit Sebago Lake, the state’s second largest, a short drive
to the south. You can also plan easy visits to the
Portland area and Old Port, Freeport’s
factory outlets and the
L.L. Bean flagship store, or North
Conway, NH with many factory outlets and family attractions. In the
fall, visit us for great foliage and the
Fryeburg Fair which is held annually
during the first full week of October. |
